The Holy Grail of Corals to arrive this week

I want to let you know about some strange things happening in the USA and other countries around corals.  It seems that the rarer the coral the more people are willing to pay for it.  Also the rarer the colour and larger the more they go for.

I am talking of what is known as Chalice corals.  Also known as Oxypora and Echynophyllia these corals can sell up to $2,000 in the USA and parts of Europe.  To make matter even more strange, People cut these corals up into pieces and then sell small fragments to many people to grow out in their tanks - to then be cut again and again.
